This Privacy Notice explains how Falcon Tec Oy processes personal data on the falcontec.fi website and how the website uses cookies and the Google Analytics 4 analytics service.

Technical website data

The website server and technical service providers may process information necessary for delivering, maintaining and protecting the website. This information may include:

• information concerning server responses and possible errors.

Google Analytics 4 data

If the user accepts analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4 may collect information such as:

The IP address is transmitted to Google when a network connection is established. According to Google, GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. For users located in the European Union, the IP address is used to derive approximate location data and is then discarded before the analytics data is logged.

Information provided by email

If a user contacts Falcon Tec Oy using the email address displayed on the website, we process the information voluntarily provided in the message, such as the user’s name, contact details and the content of the message.

The website does not provide user account registration, an online store or a contact form.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

We process personal data for the following purposes:

Website delivery and security

Technical information is processed to ensure the operation of the website, investigate errors, prevent misuse and maintain information security.

The legal basis for the processing is Falcon Tec Oy’s legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and reliable website.

Website usage statistics

Google Analytics 4 is used to understand how many visitors use the website, which pages are used and how the website may be improved.

Analytics data is not used for targeted advertising, the creation of user profiles or the identification of individual users. Google Signals, advertising personalisation and other advertising features are disabled.

The legal basis for processing is the user’s consent. Analytics is not activated and analytics-related information is not transmitted to Google before consent has been given.

Providing consent is voluntary. Refusing analytics cookies does not prevent the user from accessing or using the website.

Responding to enquiries

Personal data provided by email is processed to respond to the enquiry, manage a possible customer relationship and take steps requested by the user.

Depending on the circumstances, processing may be based on steps taken before entering into a contract or on Falcon Tec Oy’s legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to it.

Falcon Tec Oy does not sell the personal data of website users.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Information related to Google Analytics may be processed outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States.

Transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. Transfers may be based on a European Commission adequacy decision, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where necessary, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and other appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention periods

Information is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice.

• Technical server logs are retained only for the period necessary for information security, error investigation and technical maintenance.
• The Google Analytics retention period for user-level and event-level data is set to two months.
• Aggregated Google Analytics reports may be retained for a longer period where they cannot be used to identify an individual user.
• Analytics cookies remain in the user’s browser for no longer than 13 months.
• Cookie consent information is retained for as long as necessary to remember the user’s choice and demonstrate consent.
• Emails and the information contained in them are retained for as long as necessary to process the enquiry, manage a possible customer relationship or meet legal obligations.

Information may be retained for a longer period where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

8. Rights of the data subject

Under applicable data protection legislation, the user may have the right to:

• obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning them is being processed
• access their personal data
• request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• request the deletion of personal data

Information collected through the website is not used for automated decision-making concerning the user.

The website does not carry out profiling for advertising or marketing purposes.

Falcon Tec Oy uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss and other unlawful processing.

Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers who require the information to perform their duties.
